The Salisbury\u2019s existing inclusion on the City Councils \u2018Asset List\u2019 comes to an end on the 22nd August 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Your Branch have decided to renew the application to continue its listing originally made by the Trafford and Hulme branch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What we need<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Twenty \u2013 one signatures, only one per household from members who are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
(a) Resident within the Manchester City Council boundary<\/p>\n\n\n\n
(b) On the City\u2019s Electoral register.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If we are successful in our renomination the existing protection will continue for another five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What Protection<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If the existing owner decided to sell the pub CAMRA as sponsors of the nomination would receive notice of the sale. The sale could be postponed for six months to enable a \u2018Community Bid\u2019 to buy the pub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Next Step (1) Request a signature form from: pubpreservation@centralmanchester.camra.org.uk<\/p>\n\n\n\n
(2) Complete and sign the nomination form. (3) Scan it and email it back to: pubpreservation@centralmanchester.camra.org.uk<\/p>\n\n\n\n
