Festival Charity reports a success

Following the success of the small Central Manchester Beer and Cider Festival, PAPYRUS has sent this kind letter of thanks:

Thank you so much for sending through your donation of £86.45. I can confirm safe receipt of your bank transfer on 15 December 2021. We are so grateful for your kind support.

In 2020 our helpline, HOPELINEUK, received over 86,000 contacts from young people living with thoughts of suicide and those concerned for them. Your support helps pay for our trained advisers to answer these calls, texts, and emails every day of the year – keeping young people safe and saving young lives.

To cope with the huge demand on our services, we have recruited more staff and extended opening hours – this means we can save even more young lives than ever. We couldn’t have done this without the incredible support of people like you.

Thank you so much once again for supporting PAPYRUS and for helping to create a suicide safer community.
